Let's work to put all the pieces of your health together, & make it last.
PHILOSOPHY
The human body is a puzzle, each piece fitting together to create the masterwork we live in for our whole lives. My practice is dedicated to working with all of the pieces and organize them into a whole of essential wellness. From your bones, fascia, and organ function to the worldly impacts on your body - including stress and repetitive movement, I address immediate issues and build a program of care and support that lifts your entire constitution into balance.
I believe that you are the captain of your own ship. Because so much of this work can be supported and continued at home, I create plans for whole-body health that include nutrition (what you could eat and why and how) and deep relaxation techniques for integration. This is part of the greater health coaching I offer to all of my patients, complementing in-office visits with directed self-care.
EDUCATION
I hold a Masters of Science degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and am a licensed massage therapist. Woven into my work are extensive training from healing traditions including Thai massage, Tui Na (Chinese sports massage), and Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage). I also teach these modalities to professionals seeking to expand their education and co-authored the therapeutic pillar of AcroYoga International’s curriculum for teachers and practitioners.
